Safe Way Garage Doors donates $5,000 to Toys for Tots

WARSAW — Toys for Tots of Kosciusko and Marshall counties recently got a boost with an unexpected donation.

The local organization learned last week that Safe-Way Garage Doors and 1st United Doors donated $5,000.

Company representatives presented the check to Willie 103.5’s Chris Cage at Kensington Digital Media offices in Warsaw.

Cage is the coordinator of Toys for Tots in Kosciusko and Marshall counties.

“Hopefully, our small donation will be able to help over 1,000 kids get toys this year,” said Carmen Lepe, the vice president of human resources for the company. “It’s really not about the bottom line or profit, it’s really about giving back. That’s why we’re here.”

Safe Way Garage Doors has locations in Warsaw and Tempe, Arizona.
