Motorcyclist dies in US 30 accident east of Plymouth

PLYMOUTH — A motorcyclist died in a traffic accident on US 30 near Plymouth on Sunday morning.

The accident happened shortly after 10 a.m. Sunday and involved a 2019 Kawasaki motorcycle drive by 34-year-old Seth Kuckuck,​ of Fort Wayne.

Investigators determined Kuckuck was eastbound on US 30 when a van driven by 71-year old Linda Clevenger, which had been stopped at the intersection of US 30 and Hawthorn Road, ​failed to yield the right of way to motorcycle before proceeding north across the highway.

The two vehicles collided and Kuckuck was pronounced dead at the scene.

Clevenger,​ of Plymouth,​ was not injured.
