Motorcyclist dies in US 30 accident east of Plymouth

PLYMOUTH — A motorcyclist died in a traffic accident on US 30 near Plymouth on Sunday morning.
The accident happened shortly after 10 a.m. Sunday and involved a 2019 Kawasaki motorcycle drive by 34-year-old Seth Kuckuck, of Fort Wayne.
Investigators determined Kuckuck was eastbound on US 30 when a van driven by 71-year old Linda Clevenger, which had been stopped at the intersection of US 30 and Hawthorn Road, failed to yield the right of way to motorcycle before proceeding north across the highway.
The two vehicles collided and Kuckuck was pronounced dead at the scene.
Clevenger, of Plymouth, was not injured.
