Miley is a lively domestic short-hair. She is about 11 months old and was brought in as a stray on 4-17-12. She is an agile, athletic girl who will keep you entertained with acrobatic antics. She is good with children and other cats. Come meet Miley today!
FRANCIS
Francis is a 2 year old, Border Collie mix. She is a very unique girl who resembles a Border Collie mixed with a Basset Hound (she has the long body and short legs). Francis was released to us on 3-27-12. She is very amiable, social girl who loves being with people. She is good with children and seems good with other dogs. Francis has a faithful, trusting temperament. She will make a devoted & loyal family companion. Come meet Francis today!
Looking for ways to help the animals at the AWL? Try one of the many opportunities available: Be a Running Buddy (volunteer a couple of times a week to run with or walk some of the many dogs looking for new homes, providing much needed exercise and attention), Become a foster home (for pregnant/nursing mothers or other animals needing some special care), Become a "Greeter" (help welcome visitor's and potential adopters, show them where the adoption area is, and help get an available pet out if needed), Become a "Fund Raiser" (help come up with & plan new fund raising ideas, help with fun raising events already in place), Become a "Financial Supporter" (give donations/memorials, become a member, donate to the "hope fund" or become a Guardian Angel), and if you are looking to add a new member to your family, adopt one or two of the many wonderful pets available for adoption!
